My Story
From corporate career to Bordeaux winemaker
For most of my working life I had a busy corporate career in Paris and the South of France, and like so many women, I juggled it with being a mum. By my early fifties as I became an empty-nester, I knew I wanted something else . I just didn't know what.
At 52, I signed up for a wine course. Then another. With no experience of the wine industry and no master plan, I bought a small parcel of old vines with some tumbledown buildings in Fronsac and step by step, built Château George 7 from scratch. Today it's an award-winning boutique winery and wine tourism destination
At 62 I wrote Make the Midlife Move to share what I have learned, so you don't have to work it all out on your own. If I can do it, so can you.

As a tutor at the Bordeaux Wine School, I can put my wines into the broader context of Bordeaux wines making the tasting informative yet entertaining.
